Reference News Network, February 3 report: According to the Russian Sputnik news agency, on February 3, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during a speech at the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament), said that foreign troops will immediately enter Ukraine once a peace agreement is signed.
Rutte said during his speech at the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada on February 3: "As soon as a peace agreement is signed, the armed forces of NATO member states that have agreed (to send troops), aircraft in the air, and maritime support forces will immediately appear in Ukraine."
The Ukrainian parliamentary television channel broadcast the speech.
On January 6, a high-level meeting of the "Volunteer Alliance" was held in Paris, where so-called Ukrainian security issues were discussed. According to the documents reached after the meeting, the "Volunteer Alliance" agreed to continue providing long-term military support to the Kiev regime, and the leaders of the countries also signed a statement of intent to deploy troops on Ukrainian territory upon the conclusion of a peace agreement.
The Russian Foreign Ministry previously stated that any plan to deploy NATO forces in Ukraine is absolutely unacceptable to Russia and would lead to an abrupt escalation of the situation.
