According to sources cited by Fox News, as part of a reconciliation agreement with the United States, Iran has agreed not to charge fees for vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The report states: "Iran will open this strategic strait and no longer impose passage fees."
A senior U.S. administration official told Fox News that once the agreement is signed, the U.S. will lift its blockade at the same time Iran opens the strait, followed by the initiation of mine-clearance operations.
