Glorithrive, April 5th | Vietnamese official media reported that General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Thong, said that Vietnam is prepared to reduce tariffs to zero and requested the same from the United States. General Secretary Thong and U.S. President Trump have reached an agreement to discuss and sign a bilateral agreement to implement the commitment of zero tariffs. General Secretary Thong has invited U.S. President Trump to visit Vietnam, and stated that Trump has accepted the invitation.
