According to Russia 24 News, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made a statement saying that the US has used Pakistan and then discarded it like trash.

The news agency cited a report stating that Asif accused Washington of "exploiting" Pakistan for its own strategic interests and discarding it like "used toilet paper."

During a discussion in the Pakistani National Assembly about past collaborations between Islamabad and the United States, Asif emphasized that Pakistan had repeatedly tried to hide its involvement with terrorism and attributed this to the "mistakes of previous authoritarian regimes."

This defense minister pointed out that the policy shift toward the United States after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks brought extremely negative consequences.

He said, "The way the United States treats Pakistan is worse than treating it like toilet paper, using it as a tool to achieve goals and then kicking it aside once the goal is achieved."
