Russian Senator: The US Will Fail to Establish an Anti-China Coalition with Europe
Aleksandr Pushkov, a member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, stated in his Telegram channel that the United States cannot establish a unified anti-China coalition with Europe due to severe divisions with it.
"Given the unprecedented divisions with Europe, the U.S. clearly cannot build a unified anti-China coalition with Europeans," he wrote.
The senator pointed out that there are divisions between the U.S. and Europe on issues such as Ukraine, Russia, Greenland, NATO defense spending, and mutual trade, which were further exacerbated last week by serious divisions over China policy.
"Trump's new tariffs shocked the EU, and the EU decided to show Washington that it is ready to move closer to China on this issue," he noted.
