Serbian Former Deputy Prime Minister: Russia, US, and China Should Hold a New Yalta Conference to Achieve Global Balance

Alexander Vulin, former Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and founder of the Socialist Movement Party, stated that Russia, the United States, and China should convene a new Yalta Conference to achieve global balance.

Vulin attended an expert dialogue session hosted by the Russian think tank Valdai International Discussion Club in St. Petersburg on June 2.

Vulin said that the current difficult period will only end when Russia, China, and the United States sit at the negotiating table together to achieve world balance—a "new Yalta" or similar meeting.

The 1945 Crimean (Yalta) Conference was a summit meeting among the heads of government of the three Allied powers—Soviet Union, United States, and Britain—during World War II. The purpose of this conference was to coordinate the plans for the complete defeat of fascist Germany and its allies, as well as to establish fundamental principles for post-war world order.
