Scientists: An Ice Age Will Begin on Earth in 40 Years!

Russian and Finnish scientists recently published an article in the "Earth Sciences" journal.
The research found that a global cooling occurs approximately every 300 to 400 years. The reliability of this phenomenon is confirmed at a 95% level, indicating a high likelihood of its existence.
Based on the revealed patterns, the scientist team made a prediction: the next strong cooling will likely begin between 2063 and 2073.
Historical experience shows that such periods last for several decades: for example, from 1645 to 1715, when very cold climates were observed in the northern Atlantic region of Europe, with temperatures dropping by several degrees, which affected yields and living standards. During this period, rivers and straits (such as the Thames, the Hay Strait, the Danube) were covered with ice for six months or longer, including frozen seas and straits.
Another period considered is from 1310 to 1370.
The assumed cause of these large-scale changes is the reduction in solar activity - also known as the solar minimum. Scientists expect a new super solar minimum event, which will intensify the cooling on Earth.
However, the influence is not limited to the sun alone. Elena Kasatkina emphasized that large volcanic eruptions can also complicate climate conditions. Extreme volcanic emissions sometimes lead to the entire Earth entering a fully frozen state.
