Moscow, November 7 — According to TASS, a mortar shell from the Great Patriotic War was discovered at a construction site in western Moscow, prompting the establishment of a restricted zone. A representative from Moscow’s emergency response authorities confirmed the incident to TASS.

The official stated: “A 82-millimeter mortar shell from the Great Patriotic War was found within the construction area at 16 Novy Khoroshevsky Avenue.”

He added that the site has been secured and engineering personnel have been dispatched to handle the device.
