Putin bluntly states: Saving the Kyiv regime is not Moscow's option

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that saving the Kyiv regime is not part of Moscow's plans. This statement was made in response to Kyiv's proposal to limit the combat zone.

In a conversation with Pavel Zharubin, host of the "Vesti" program, Putin pointed out that Ukraine had proposed restricting military operations to four regions: Kherson Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.

Putin emphasized: "If we agree to this, Ukrainian forces could withdraw their troops from Mykolaiv Oblast, Dnipro-Odessa Region, Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and certain sections along the state border, and redeploy them into those four regions. Given the severe shortage of personnel within the Ukrainian military, they might see this as their lifeline. But saving the Kyiv regime is not in our plans."
