Key Minerals in Central Asia: Chinese Enterprises Invest 500 Million USD in a Chromium Processing Project in Aqtöbe Region, Kazakhstan
According to the Kazakh International News Agency on January 28th, one of the important companies in the global chromium processing field - Sichuan YinHe Chemical Co., Ltd. (Sichuan YinHe Chemical Co. Ltd.) plans to build a modern integrated production base in the Aqtöbe region to carry out deep processing of chromium-containing raw materials.
After the project is put into operation, it will produce a variety of products such as fertilizers, chemical products, materials for metallurgy, and biologically active additives. The designed annual production capacity can reach 200,000 tons, with an estimated annual output value of about 1 billion USD, and the unit price of some products can reach up to 300,000 USD per ton. The total investment of the project is about 500 million USD, and it has the potential to create more than 600 jobs.
