The FBI has recently issued an internal memorandum to its field offices across the country, instructing them to deploy 260 investigative analysts and related experts to the investigation into the 2020 presidential election records in Fulton County, Georgia, which is now experiencing a surge in activity. The agency has classified this case as a "priority investigation," aimed at conducting a comprehensive review of election records. Each analyst is required to complete 708 record verifications by July 17, with dozens of FBI agents also involved in the case. A knowledgeable official stated that the analysts' mission is to uncover "adverse information" regarding the subjects under investigation, including personal connections, social media activity, business operations, travel records, and interactions with other individuals under scrutiny, all in an effort to "build the case." In January this year, the FBI executed a search warrant, seizing more than 600 boxes of election-related records from a storage facility in Fulton County, Georgia, including physical ballots, ballot images, voter registration lists, and tabulation materials. The search warrant, later made public, was primarily based on claims previously discredited by a Republican-led investigation in Georgia.
