General Motors Stops Exporting Cars from the U.S. to China
According to comprehensive media reports, General Motors notified relevant employees and dealers of its China export business last week that the company will no longer export cars from the U.S. to China.
A spokesperson for General Motors said that the company exports cars from the U.S. to China through its high-end import business, Durant Guild (Durant Guild), but this part accounts for less than 0.1% of the company's sales in China.
"Given significant changes in the economic landscape, we have decided to restructure the Durant Guild business and accordingly optimize General Motors' operations in China," the company spokesperson stated.
