On April 7, China's ambassador to Ukraine signed a phytosanitary agreement with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv, paving the way for the export of Ukrainian wheat flour to China.
The Ukrainian side stated that China is its largest trading partner and a key export market for agricultural products. This cooperation marks a qualitative upgrade in bilateral relations—from raw material exports to finished product trade—and Ukraine expects to further diversify its agricultural exports to China.
