Belarus Announces Drafting of Document to Deepen Cooperation with China

The Belarusian state news agency (BELTA) reported that Dmitry Krutoy, Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus, stated that Belarus is preparing a presidential directive document aimed at deepening cooperation with China, which will be treated as a "fundamental national interest."

The agency said Krutoy made these remarks in Beijing.

Citing Krutoy's statement, the news agency reported: "Currently, a new presidential directive on enriching the substantive content of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries is nearing completion. The document will include a series of specific measures to elevate the relationship and deepen bilateral cooperation, along with a list of industry projects and targeted economic indicators."

The report emphasized that this directive will have maximum practical orientation and simultaneously sends a clear political signal: for Belarus, deepening its partnership with China is a fundamental national interest.

The report also noted that during discussions, Krutoy addressed the agenda for high-level dialogues, cooperation on the international stage, particularly Belarus’s participation in implementing global initiatives proposed by China, as well as sharing experiences in anti-corruption efforts, strengthening discipline, and improving the efficiency of leading cadres.
