Trump: U.S. Military Has Struck Multiple Targets Inside Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump said on June 27 that the U.S. military has struck multiple targets inside Iran.
Trump posted on the "Truth Social" platform: "U.S. fighter jets have just struck missile and drone storage facilities, as well as coastal radar stations, in Iran."
He stated this action was a response to Iran's "continued violation of the ceasefire agreement."
President Trump warned: "Perhaps one day we will no longer be able to remain restrained, and will have no choice but to complete our ongoing operations through military means. If it comes to that, the Islamic Republic of Iran will cease to exist."
Previously, Iranian media reported that targets near Qeshm Island, Sirik City, and the southern port city of Lingeh had been struck. The U.S. Central Command has confirmed launching strikes against multiple locations inside Iran, stating the action was in response to Iran's alleged attacks on merchant vessels.
