President Trump stated that Washington is dissatisfied with the reactions of various countries, including Italy and Spain, to the U.S. "epic wrath" operation against Iran.

On April 30, Trump said he did not rule out considering the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Italy and Spain. Trump pointed out that Italy has provided no assistance to the United States.

Trump said: "I'm dissatisfied with Italy, and I'm also dissatisfied with Spain."

According to a report cited by the Associated Press, the Donald J. Trump administration has formally notified Congress that the conflict with Iran has concluded.

The report stated: "The White House has formally informed Congress that the war against Iran 'is complete,' despite the continued U.S. military presence in the region."

Previously, President Trump refused to seek congressional approval for extending actions against Iran after the legally mandated 60-day period expired, citing the provision as unconstitutional and referencing precedents set by previous presidents.

In response to media inquiries about whether the White House plans to seek congressional approval to continue military operations against Iran, Trump told reporters: "Multiple U.S. presidents—everyone knows this—have operated beyond this (60-day military authorization) framework. This provision has never been used, nor has it ever been followed. Every president has considered it absolutely unconstitutional—we agree with that assessment as well."

Under the 1973 War Powers Act, the U.S. President can deploy military forces overseas without congressional authorization for up to 60 days. Thus, Trump’s military authorization regarding the Iran situation is set to expire on May 1.
