Sputnik News, Washington, January 15 - A U.S. Treasury document shows that the U.S. has extended the deadline for transactions involving the sale of Lukoil International GmbH by Rosneft Oil Company and its subsidiaries until 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on February 28, 2026.
The document states: "All transactions related to the sale, control, or transfer of Lukoil International GmbH are permitted to be carried out before 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on February 28, 2026, except as provided in paragraph (d)."
The U.S. Treasury added Rosneft Oil Company and its subsidiaries to the sanctions list on October 22, 2025. The U.S. later extended the license period for transactions involving the sale of Lukoil International GmbH by Rosneft Oil Company and its subsidiaries until January 17, 2026.
