Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces: Moscow Will Ultimately Fall
On June 18, following the most intense drone attacks on Moscow since the war began, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Combat Forces Commander, Mair, posted a message with an image on his Telegram channel stating, "Moscow will ultimately fall." The full text is as follows:
"Triumphant results: June 16, 17, and 18… wave after wave, the recipe for revenge red borscht is already prepared.
Moscow will ultimately fall—not as easily as Crimea’s beaches. The Kremlin knows well: there is no absolute safety, no unreachable zone left—these areas are growing fewer and fewer.
Ukraine’s 'Birds of Freedom' forces’ plan for revenge: firm and pragmatic—systematic reconnaissance, destruction of enemy energy infrastructure and defense industry complex—the very foundations funding and sustaining the war against our homeland Ukraine; destruction of air defense positions, elimination of enemy combat forces.
Based on historical timelines, by September 14 to 18, we should consolidate our gains: comparing to 1812 and 2026, when Moscow once burned in flames, and now coincidentally during Russia’s phase of consolidating power through elections.
Fighting for Ukraine’s complete victory over barbaric invaders and securing absolute moral superiority.
The 1st Independent Drone Center under SBS drone cluster, the 9th "Kairos" Battalion, the 414th "Mair's Birds" Independent Drone Brigade, the 413th "Raid" Independent Drone Regiment, the 412th "Goddess of Revenge" Independent Drone Brigade, jointly with Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence Bureau, carried out their third large-scale firepower strike on the Moscow refinery within 30 days.
The revenge assembly line is now running at full speed."
Note: Historical reference to 1812. During the 1812 Russian-French War, to implement scorched-earth tactics, the Russian commander-in-chief, authorized by Tsar Alexander I, set Moscow ablaze. Mair invokes this historical precedent to imply that Moscow is once again suffering severe damage today.
