Tajikistan Minister: Tajikistan and China to Expand Cooperation in Information Technology
The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan announced that during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) held in Shanghai, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabil, signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese Foreign Ministry Minister.
Kabil said: "The documents signed primarily aim to promote industrial innovation and digital transformation. Tajikistan is interested in further strengthening collaboration with international partners and implementing joint projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and new technologies."
He stated that the signed agreement will further expand investment opportunities in advanced technology sectors and drive development in Tajikistan's industrial domain.
In 2022, the government of Tajikistan adopted the "Artificial Intelligence Strategy to 2040," making Tajikistan the first country in Central Asia to advance AI development at the national level.
