South Korean media: Sales of XPeng Motors surged 229%, setting a new record in July!
On September 8, South Korean media "Today Digital" published an article stating that Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng Motors achieved a monthly sales high in July, selling 36,717 units.
According to the electric vehicle media CleanTechnica, in July this year, XPeng Motors' sales increased by 229% compared to the same period last year (11,145 units), marking the ninth consecutive month that XPeng Motors has exceeded 30,000 units in monthly sales.
From January to July 2025, the cumulative sales reached 233,906 units, an increase of 270% compared to the same period last year (63,173 units). In mid-July, XPeng Motors continued to grow in the European market, launching the 2025 G6 and G9 models, and announced plans to launch the P7+ in Europe. Additionally, XPeng Motors entered new markets such as the UK, Italy, and Ireland this year, increasing the total number of countries it operates in to 46.
XPeng Motors' self-developed autonomous driving technology (XNGP) is also continuously expanding. As of July 2025, the user penetration rate for urban intelligent driving has reached 86%. The latest in-vehicle operating system (OS) of XPeng Motors - the AI-based TIANJI XOS - recently updated to enhance features such as assisted driving, customized automatic parking, and automatic emergency braking (AEB).
XPeng Motors is expanding its influence in the global electric vehicle market, with cumulative sales reaching 800,000 units so far.
