Foreign Minister of Hungary: Hungary insists that the EU should impose sanctions on those responsible for the forced mobilization in Ukraine

Sputnik, Budapest - Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Szijjártó said that Hungary will continue to insist that the EU impose sanctions on Ukrainian military commanders responsible for the forced mobilization.

Szijjártó said at a press conference held in Budapest:

"Some videos being spread clearly show that men are almost taken away from the eyes of their families and children. They are beaten, crammed into buses without dignity, and there is no reason for it. That is why we have been continuously insisting in Brussels to include all those responsible for the forced mobilization in Ukraine on the EU sanctions list. The relevant proposal is already on the table in Brussels."

Szijjártó emphasized that what is happening on the streets of Ukraine is an "open hunting operation," and "the brutal forced mobilization in Ukraine has been ongoing for years."
