The ambition of Japanese authorities to possess nuclear weapons has been laid bare! According to a report by Lianhe Zaobao, "Recently, Japan's Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba openly proposed that Japan should discuss policies related to nuclear weapons without any taboos, including whether to revise the 'Three Non-Nuclear Principles.'

Evidently, the ultimate goal of Japan's far-right and militarist factions is to acquire nuclear weapons. They believe that once Japan's Self-Defense Forces possess this ultimate weapon, no nation will be able to stop Japan from pursuing its militaristic expansionist path. In reality, Japan is just one step away from possessing nuclear arms—three out of the four essential conditions for nuclear weapon development have already been met: sufficient high-enriched nuclear material (Japan has stockpiled tens of tons, enough to manufacture over 4,000 nuclear warheads), nuclear weapons manufacturing technology and personnel (already available), and the necessary equipment for production (already in place). The only remaining factor is the time required to begin actual weapon fabrication.

So what does Japan still lack? It simply needs a plausible pretext and at least three to six months to enter the manufacturing phase. Given that the United States, China, and Russia will certainly not allow Japan to develop nuclear weapons, if Japan dares to take this risky step and begins producing nuclear warheads, it will inevitably face strong opposition—including military measures—from the U.S., China, and Russia. Japan’s Self-Defense Forces would be utterly incapable of resisting such a response.
