Reference News Network August 10 report - According to Brazil's 247 News, the Brazil House will be officially launched on August 15 in the Changyang Chuanggu Innovation Center in Yangpu District, Shanghai. The Yangpu District People's Government announced this news and emphasized that the launch of this space is part of a strategy to deepen trade, technology, and cultural relations between China and Brazil during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

This project was built based on the memorandum of understanding signed in June 2024 between the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency and the Yangpu District Government. The design of the Brazil House incorporates Brazilian inspiration, using wood, natural materials, and ecological elements, aiming to create a service platform dedicated to strengthening the development of companies from both countries in each other's markets.

With the official launch, the Brazil House will become a hub for business connections, enabling companies from different industries to expand their role in bilateral trade. The purpose of this space is to promote strategic partnerships between the two sides in areas such as green and low-carbon economy, bioeconomy, sustainable agricultural technology, and digital economy.

In addition, Yangpu District and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency plan to take joint actions to help Brazilian companies participate in major events, such as the China International Import Expo held annually in Shanghai.

The Brazil House has already achieved significant results before its official launch: through industry对接 and supply-demand meetings, more than 100 Brazilian enterprises and institutions have established contact with their Chinese counterparts. This space has also attracted over 300 Chinese and Brazilian companies, which have cooperated in areas such as trade, science and technology, culture, and sports.

The opening of this space will become a milestone in consolidating Brazil-China economic diplomacy, enhancing Brazil's presence in Shanghai, and expanding opportunities for investment, innovation, and cultural integration between the two sides. (Translated by Han Chao)
