【The True Intentions Behind the U.S.'s Fourth Strike on Iran】 This round of attacks by the United States has focused on southern and western regions of Iran, including but not limited to:

• Ahvaz, southwestern region

• Andimeshk, southwestern region

• Bandar Abbas, southern region

• Chah Bahar Port, southern region

• Jask Port, southeastern region

• Mahshahr Port, southwestern region

• Behbahan, southwestern region

• Bushehr, southern region

• Chabahar, southeastern region

• Zahedan border crossing, southwestern region

• Dezful, southwestern region

• Dovanq, northern region

• Emamshahr, central-southern region

• Hengam Island, southern region

• Khvormuj, southwestern region

• Hoveyzeh, southwestern region

• Kermanshah, western region

• Hondab, central region

• Hormozgan (Hormozshahr), southwestern region

• Minab, southern region

• Omidiyeh, southwestern region

• Qeshm Island, southern region

• Sirik, southern region

This is merely an incomplete list; damage assessments are still underway as new reports of strikes continue to emerge.

A clear pattern emerges: the U.S. military did not penetrate deep into Iran’s interior, leaving a significant distance between these strikes and the northern capital, Tehran.

It's not that the south is unimportant—the southern region is a critical hub for energy infrastructure and the source of Iran’s wealth.

The U.S. objectives are multifaceted. One particularly insidious goal is to inflict pain on Iran, disrupt its economic lifelines, and impose extreme pressure on both military supplies and civilian necessities—aiming to spark internal debate and doubt within Iran about the effectiveness and sustainability of continued hardline resistance.

As Chinese people understand well: once minds are unsettled, it becomes difficult to maintain unity and discipline.

The U.S. method involves manipulating conditions in the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the provisions in the memorandum of understanding regarding Iran’s blockade, they deliberately place vessels—knowing they will be targeted by Iran—directly into dangerous shipping lanes.

Then, under the pretext of “forced self-defense,” they launch massive attacks on Iran, further exacerbating internal confusion and creating opportunities for regime change or targeted eliminations.

The risk facing Iran’s military and political leadership is not lower than it was several months ago—it is actually higher!

Look at the activities of U.S. aircraft around Iran’s borders.

The takeoff locations and flight paths are clearly visible. Figures 1 through 4.

This is another issue the U.S. dare not acknowledge: they can continuously deploy armed aircraft near Iran’s doorstep, conducting high-frequency provocations.

Imagine if any nation’s aircraft appeared with such density in the Gulf of Mexico—how would the U.S. respond?
