The war with Iran has officially entered its fourth week, yet there are hardly any signs of easing violence. According to U.S. officials, on Friday evening Iran launched an attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, injuring 12 U.S. military personnel, two of whom sustained serious injuries. At least two KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft were severely damaged in the assault. This combined missile and drone strike represents one of the most significant breaches of American air defense systems during this conflict. The attack is a retaliation against Israel’s earlier strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and Israel’s subsequent pledge to "escalate and expand" its military operations.
