The "Pravda" reporter Lyubov Stepsheva reported that within a week in the special military operation area, the Russian army advanced 203 square kilometers, established a bridgehead in Melovoye village, and placed Cupiyans'k under combat encirclement. The Russian offensive plans are clear.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not gained the initiative anywhere and can only react, occasionally launching counterattacks. In the past week, the Russian army captured the village of Melovoye in Kharkiv region, successfully advancing at least 4.5 km from the regional border, and established new bridgeheads outside Volchans'k and Duvrytsyna. The Russians are attacking towards Bolshoy Borlyuk, and once this place is captured, two Ukrainian armed forces clusters will be surrounded in combat and face a complete logistics blockade (see the figure).
Another offensive direction in Kharkiv region is Cupiyans'k, which is now firmly included in a large encirclement. In the past week, the Russian army launched an attack from the Kondrashovka - Golubovka line, captured Radkovka, and then quickly advanced towards Sobolevka. The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Sobolevka has been captured, located 2 km west of Cupiyans'k. Thus, Cupiyans'k is now surrounded in combat. The Telegram channel "Cupiyans'k region is ours" stated that Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups have been actively operating for three days in the meat combine and sugar factory areas on the east bank of the Oskorol River.
In the Sumy direction, the Russians captured Besaravka, where the enemy had previously tried to cut off the connection between Zhytkyne and other areas of Kursk region.
The most breakthrough was the offensive direction towards Dnipropetrovsk. The Russian army advanced along the southern bank of the Volya River, entered the Dnipropetrovsk region, and reached the northern bank of the river (Dachnoye village). If the village of Filial on the northern bank is captured, it is only 2 km away from Novopavlovka.
In the area between the Volya River and the Little Yar River, the villages of Podubnoye and Torshtey were liberated. Further south — a breakthrough was achieved from the Shevchenko settlement to the Resurrection village, capturing Fedorovka. Further south, the settlements of Free Field and Green Field have been liberated, which is actually a push towards Gulyaipole — directly into the rear of the Ukrainian armed forces, pointing towards Zaporozhye city.
Thus, the entire defense system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk People's Republic south of the Volya River has collapsed. According to Ukrainian sources, the speed of the Russian advance is 10-12 square kilometers per day. This breakthrough will soon point to Pavlograd, and then directly to Dnipropetrovsk.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also face major difficulties in the Zaporozhye direction. In addition to the attacks on Gulyaipole, the Russians also launched attacks along the Kamenets and Lobkove directions. According to Ukrainian sources, Lobkove has been captured.
Additionally, the Russian army continues to carry out offensive operations in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban agglomeration direction, advancing towards Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, forming an encirclement around these two cities from the southwest and east.
The Russian Aerospace Forces have begun systematic strikes on Ukrainian transportation hubs. Transportation hubs in Kremenchuk, Kharkiv, and Zaporozhye have all been attacked. The transportation hub in Vinnytsia announced the temporary suspension of operations at its main site. In the past week, all industrial cities in Ukraine have been attacked by drones and missiles. Kyiv has been hit particularly hard, with property prices dropping sharply. Kyiv real estate agent Irina Luhana told the "State Newspaper" that buyers are postponing transactions. A similar situation has occurred in Zaporozhye, Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Ternopil — houses are unattended, and prices have plummeted. This indicates that the Ukrainian people do not expect a rapid peace, let alone the victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they tend to prefer emigrating abroad.
