【Whether the Russian forces have entered Dnipropetrovsk region as of June 30: according to Ukraine】
On June 30, a spokesperson for the "Khortytsa" operational-strategic group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Tregubov, stated during an interview with "Suspilne" TV that the Russian forces had not yet penetrated into the Dnipropetrovsk region, and fighting continues in settlements such as Yalta, Komar, and Shevchenkove.
Kovalenko, director of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, also stated that as of June 30, the Russians had not broken through into the Dnipropetrovsk region: "Fighting continues near administrative boundaries, and the Russians also use FPV drones to enter the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, there is no breakthrough at the moment, and the fighting is tough."
As of June 30, on the map of the DeepState monitoring platform, the "gray zone" (the area of skirmishes/control unknown area) was marked just outside the boundary of the Dnipropetrovsk region (as shown in the figure).
Ukrainian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Syrskyi reported in mid-April that the Russian occupiers were trying to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops and cross into the administrative boundary of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
However, in early June, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the Russian army had reached the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff denied this information.
