Thailand's House of Representatives announced that it will vote to select the Prime Minister this week!

Speaking in an interview, Thailand's House Speaker Wan Muhammad Noor said that the preliminary plan is to vote for the Prime Minister this week to quickly address economic and national security issues.

The three-day agenda for the House of Representatives meeting this week was announced. September 3rd will be a legislative hearing, September 4th was originally scheduled as a thematic hearing, but due to the cabinet being dismissed, the meeting had to be canceled, and on September 5th, a special hearing will be held to review several pending laws.

Regarding the Prime Minister election, Wan Noor said there are two ways to vote:

1. Members of parliament can propose an emergency motion during the meeting, but they must notify the members at least one day in advance.

2. The parliament may issue an urgent notice, informing the appropriate date and preparing all members, including members of parliament and candidates.

If the members are ready, they can proceed and take action. Wan Noor emphasized that everyone hopes the selection of the Prime Minister and the formation of the government will not be delayed, which could affect the economy and national security.
