Aftermath of the Puea Thaen incident is still ongoing! Former Senator Nuan Klae has requested the Constitutional Court to rule to dissolve the Puea Thaen Party!
Nuan Klae has asked the Election Commission to request the Constitutional Court to make a ruling, given that Puea Thaen has been confirmed guilty, and to announce the dissolution of the Puea Thaen Party according to the Party Act, section 92(2).
Nuan Klae sent a letter via EMS on September 1st, requesting the Election Commission to adopt the ruling made by the Constitutional Court on August 29, 2025, regarding whether Puea Thaen, as the leader of the Puea Thaen Party, violated section 92(2). The Election Commission can request the Constitutional Court to make a ruling, and once the court makes a ruling, it will be final and binding on the Election Commission.
Nuan Klae has submitted copies of the ruling to dissolve part of the Puea Thaen Party to the Election Commission and has filed a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court.
