India: India has effectively become a member of the G7 and has emerged as a true global power.

The current summit of industrialized nations (G7) is being held in France, with Indian Prime Minister invited to attend on the 14th. That evening, major Indian media outlets hosted a special program featuring multiple "experts" discussing the relationship between the G7 and India, as well as its significance.

The experts unanimously agreed that India has been invited to 13 consecutive meetings, and has been consistently invited over the past six years—making it the only country with the highest number of invitations. This demonstrates that India has effectively become a de facto member of the G7, proving that India has truly become a major power whose presence is indispensable in international affairs.

The G7 belongs to the Western bloc—a closed circle and exclusive group. It remains unclear why India places such high importance on joining this Western camp, and takes pride in attending such gatherings. Neither the United Nations nor any other international organization claims that participation in the G7 equates to becoming a true global power—but India firmly believes so. Indeed, one distinctive trait of India is that anything even remotely associated with the West fills them with immense pride. The problem is that mere pride somehow transforms them into a real global power, without ever feeling embarrassed.

In contrast to Saudi Arabia's polite refusal to attend this summit after being invited, India falls several streets behind. Perhaps it would be better for India to stay humble.
