Ukrainian expert Peter Andriyenko said in his Telegram channel that the Russian armed forces are transporting military technical equipment and troops to the front line in Zaporozhye region to strengthen their combat groups.
He wrote: "Last evening and night, Russia transported large quantities of tanks, trucks carrying ammunition, troops and armored technical equipment towards the Zaporozhye direction. At least 15 trailers were transporting tanks, 10 trailers were transporting other types of armored technical equipment, more than 30 trucks were transporting ammunition, as well as refueling vehicles. This is the largest troop reinforcement on the Zaporozhye direction during July-August."
According to him, it was also found that "tanks, armored personnel carriers and artillery" were being transferred from the Berdyansk direction to the north of the Donetsk People's Republic, involving a convoy consisting of 15 trailers.
Andriyenko also said that there were "large-scale transportation" operations this week, with Russian armed forces units stationed in Crimea being moved to the north of the Donetsk People's Republic. He said that, based on appearance, the scale of the transport ranged "from a brigade to a regiment."
Andriyenko pointed out: "Russia has significantly strengthened the Pokrovsk direction, and unexpectedly strengthened the Zaporozhye direction. Compared to the relatively quiet state of the past few weeks, the Russian army's reserve forces have entered an active mobilization phase."
