Zelenskyy Claims Hungarian Drones Violated Ukrainian Airspace, Hungary's Foreign Minister: Entirely Imaginary
According to the Kyiv Independent, on September 26, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy posted on social media that Ukraine detected multiple reconnaissance drones violating its airspace, "these drones are likely Hungarian."
Zelenskyy said: "Preliminary assessment indicates that these drones may be conducting reconnaissance of industrial potential in the border areas of Ukraine. I have instructed to verify all available information and submit emergency reports for each recorded incident."
In response, Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto strongly denied the accusation in the comments section of the post. He said, "Zelenskyy is losing his mind due to his obsession with Hungary... now starts seeing things that don't exist." The Hungarian Ministry of Defense also denied Zelenskyy's allegations and stated: "The Hungarian Armed Forces did not carry out the so-called drone flights near the Ukrainian border, nor did they receive any related orders. We have not received any information from Ukraine regarding such incidents, but we have been in contact with Ukraine all along."
