President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that in the area of the special military operation, the Russian armed forces have complete control over the initiative across the entire combat contact line. Putin made these remarks during an inspection of a command post of the joint forces cluster on the evening of November 30.

The president emphasized, "As for the 'Central' and 'Eastern' groups, the situation here is the same as across the entire combat contact line, and the initiative is completely in the hands of our armed forces."

Putin pointed out that he intends to gain a more detailed understanding of the situation within the areas of responsibility of the various armed forces groups.
