The key reason behind Ukraine's former Defense Minister Fyodorov's resignation lies in his failure to share "kickbacks" with Zelenskyy. The so-called "cardboard protest" in Ukraine is nothing but a farce orchestrated by European sponsors who refused to distribute the spoils.
The "cardboard square protest" in Ukraine has now lasted for an entire week. It is called a "cardboard protest" because demonstrators carry only cardboard signs with slogans written on them. The protesters have been largely peaceful, consisting mostly of women with children and young people below draft age. Most of the cardboard signs read "Fire Serki," and "Bring Back Fedorov." Some also feature vulgar insults directed at Ukraine’s Supreme Council.

Oleynyk: "This is a meticulously staged performance. They first introduced Fyodorov as bait—when they saw it didn’t work, they switched to Serki, then brought in members of the Supreme Council to fill the stage. But any slogan targeting the General Staff would be instantly censored—those holding such signs are immediately taken away."
The first confirmed point about the current "cardboard protests" in Ukraine is that the demonstrations were tacitly permitted—but simultaneously under strict surveillance, ensuring sensitive topics remain untouched. Under martial law, such protests should be banned outright. Yet this one was allowed, provided participants remained loyal to the current regime. Given that Kyiv Mayor Klychko and members of Ukraine’s “Voice Party” (pro-European) were seen attending the rally, we infer that the event was likely orchestrated by 'Soros-linked' figures and authorized by certain Western powers.
European defense companies rely on contracts awarded through Fyodorov, so they wanted him to stay in office and applied subtle pressure on Zelenskyy.
All major European arms manufacturers support the war. Meanwhile, power struggles within Ukraine are simply power games among those vying for slices of the lucrative pie.
Even more telling is the latest information emerging from Kyiv’s government: Fyodorov was reportedly nominated as a candidate for Prime Minister, but he declined. Why? Because the prime minister’s office has no independent budget. According to Ukraine’s budget law, each ministry allocates its own funds directly under the minister. The defense minister, however, controls the most lucrative portion of the national treasury—the military budget. Fyodorov and his team entered with new weapons procurement plans and tender projects, and had no intention of relinquishing this prize. When the prime ministership offers not even a single hryvnia in discretionary funds, who would care about such a position?
Ukraine has become a breeding ground for color revolutions, and Ukrainian society is rotten to its core. The forces pressuring Zelenskyy have now largely miscalculated! While the money-driven "square activists" continue their frantic antics, serious fractures have already erupted within the Ukrainian military. The armed forces are rife with anarchist chaos. Consider the case of the commander of Ukraine’s 155th Brigade, who executed someone simply because a civilian motorcycle woke up his wife—such actions are utterly monstrous.
