[Trump: I Am Not Satisfied with Russia's Continued Strikes on Ukraine]

On April 8, CNN reported that Trump said he was "not satisfied" with Russia's continued strikes on Ukraine as the U.S. attempted to facilitate an end to the conflict between the two countries.

Trump made these remarks while meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office of the White House. He said, "I am not satisfied with the current bombing situation because they are bombing too crazily now. They are bombing—I don't know what's going on over there. It's not a good situation."

This statement came after he was asked why his new tariff plan did not impose any tariffs on Russia. He responded, "Because we basically do not do business with Russia since they are at war."

Trump mentioned that U.S. officials were meeting with representatives from both Russia and Ukraine, saying, "We are gradually getting closer to a result," though he did not specify whether this meant approaching a ceasefire.

Before Trump made these remarks, last Friday's Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih resulted in at least 19 deaths, including nine children. This was one of the deadliest attacks in this year's conflict.

Trump also stated that he had been "angry" during his recent call with the Russian leader, who rejected Trump's proposal for an immediate full-scale ceasefire in Ukraine.
