April 8th Morning Ukraine-Russia Latest Battle Report:
1. Kursk Front:
In the past five days, Russian troops have occupied most of the area of Gvo Village, forcing the Ukrainian army to retreat to the suburbs of the village.
2. Northern Donetsk Front:
In the past 48 hours, Russian troops have made new progress in the east and north of Novye Village, controlling some defensive positions. At the same time, Russian troops have occupied the village of Katerynivka and advanced towards the direction of Novo Mykhailivka from the eastern part of the village.
On the other hand, three days ago, Russian troops began an offensive in the south of Yampilivka Village, capturing some positions in the north and northeast of Tolsk Village (including a fish farm).
3. Severodonetsk Front:
Since mid-March, Russian troops have continuously captured positions around "White Mountain" north of Verkhny Kamiansk (Figure 3-1), and are approaching complete control of this strategic location.
4. Dzerzhynsk (Toretsk) Front:
In the past five days, Russian troops have recaptured most of the Shimkolonna District and some areas of the Twelfth District (Figure 4-2). In addition, Russian troops have crossed the canal west of Ozharyanivka from a new direction.
5. Pokrovshchyna (Red Army Village) Front:
Russian troops control the central part of Lisyvka Village.
