Multiple Chinese vessels are conducting law enforcement and survey activities densely within the nine-dash line in the South China Sea!

According to the U.S. ocean organization SeaLight, our Coast Guard vessel CCG 5303 and the research vessel "Xiangyanghong 05" were tracked on Saturday near the nine-dash line close to the Philippine coast for law enforcement and survey activities.

Although the CCG 5303 belongs to the coast guard ship series, it was built on the hull of a naval frigate and is equipped with a 76mm main gun.

The "Xiangyanghong 05" entered the so-called Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone on June 7 after departing from Guangdong, conducted marine scientific research near Guam for nearly three weeks, and re-entered the waters around Luzon Island on July 31.

The Philippine Coast Guard sent a radio message to the research vessel, but the "Xiangyanghong 05" did not respond and continued its normal survey schedule.

The Philippine Coast Guard previously stated that there are another three Chinese research vessels currently in the West Philippine Sea — Beidiao 996, Xiangyanghong 10, and Zhuhaiyun.

The "Beidiao 996" was last found 40 nautical miles west of China's Huangyan Island, while the "Xiangyanghong 10" and "Zhuhaiyun" were found 195 nautical miles away from Rizal in Balabac Island, near China's Niuji礁 (Niuji Reef).
