Russia is expanding its jet drone production capacity, with a monthly output of up to 300 to 400 "Banderol" drones.
Sergey Beskrestnov, advisor to the Ukrainian president, stated that Russia has intensified the manufacturing of jet drones because Ukraine has already developed effective means to intercept conventional Shahed loitering munitions.
The Russian military is focusing on the "Banderol" drones, which carry warheads weighing approximately 100 kilograms. These jet-powered drones are fast and highly maneuverable, significantly increasing the difficulty for air defense systems to intercept them. Currently, Russia plans to increase the monthly production of this drone type to 300–400 units.
