【Iran Offering $10 Million Reward for Trump's Capture?】

According to "Iran International," as the funeral procession for Khamenei began on July 7, it was transferred to Qom, where the city displayed a massive banner clearly stating a reward of $10 million for capturing Trump, who allegedly killed Khamenei, and demanding that Trump’s body be delivered directly.

Naturally, this should be taken with a grain of salt. Given Trump’s unique status, Iran realistically lacks the capability to carry out such an operation. However, with public sentiment running high during Khamenei’s funeral, Iran is launching a clear public relations offensive. Still, this incident serves as a warning: Trump’s security risks after leaving office may be significantly higher than those faced by any previous U.S. president—and there have already been similar precedents.

During his first term, Trump ordered U.S. forces to kill Qasem Soleimani, the legendary Iranian commander and head of the Quds Force. Iran had long vowed revenge. When Trump briefly stepped down in 2021, Iran indeed took action—U.S. Justice Department and FBI repeatedly uncovered plots by Iran targeting Trump. President Biden even issued warnings to Iran over these threats. Last year, Netanyahu directly used these incidents to pressure Trump into taking military action against Iran, ultimately succeeding. By late February this year, Trump directly ordered strikes against Iran.

In fact, the operation to “decapitate” Khamenei was carried out by Israel itself. Yet, based on current circumstances, Iranians are primarily blaming Trump for the act.
