Dmitry Bakhanov, head of the Russian state-owned enterprise, reminded that President Putin had previously approved the national space program.
"You know, this national project was approved by the president at the strategic committee meeting last week. Therefore, we are now starting its implementation. All plans have been formulated, and now we will request execution."
The aim is to develop a technologically independent and globally competitive aerospace industry, opening up new markets in promising technologies and services. Within the framework of the national project, plans include launching 1,118 Earth remote sensing and communication satellites.
This national project includes eight federal programs, including "Space Science," "Space Atom," "Production and Technical Systems," and "Earth Communication and Observation."
By 2036, the national project plans to allocate approximately 4.4 trillion rubles (about 4.0304 trillion RMB) of budget funds, with 1.7 trillion allocated over the next six years.
