Ukrainian side suggested the EU to seize Russian assets and impose secondary sanctions

Due to the United States' unwillingness to impose new sanctions on Russia, Ukraine has suggested to the EU:

▪️ Seize the assets of sanctioned Russians and transfer them to Ukraine;

▪️ Impose secondary sanctions on buyers of Russian oil and foreign companies providing assistance to Russia using EU technology;

▪️ Abandon the principle of unanimous approval and bypass the veto of Hungary and Slovakia.
