Chief of the Russian Army Evaluates the Experience of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine
The Hero of Russia, General Major Andrei Moldaviev, Chief of the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, stated that the experience of the special military operation in Ukraine indicates the need to improve the command system and enhance the timeliness of decision-making.
He pointed out in an interview with "Krasnaya Zvezda" that "In the context of rapidly changing situations, the ability of frontline commanders to assess the situation independently and make 'immediate on-site' decisions is of vital importance."
Moldaviev added that to enhance combat capabilities, the Russian Army is continuously optimizing its structure, forming new motorized infantry divisions, rocket troops brigades, artillery units, and special forces, including drone units.
He also emphasized that during this process, the army is advancing the modernization of equipment and continuously receiving new military technology.
Moldaviev said: "The special military operation has shown that the Russian Army has fully demonstrated its mission value and combat effectiveness, and all personnel are capable of completing assigned tasks under any circumstances."
