Israel plans to annex parts of Lebanon and expel the local residents

Israel is preparing to annex one-third of Lebanon's territory and incorporate it into the Golan Heights, which it has already annexed from Syria.

Izak Kreiz, chairman of the Interior and Environment Committee of the Israeli parliament, speaking about Lebanon said, "There is no choice but to expel and cleanse all territories north of the Litani River, remove the local Lebanese civilians... establish sovereignty and settle."

In February this year, Israel again sprayed glyphosate herbicide on farmlands in southern Lebanon, aiming to destroy the crops and livelihoods of local residents in order to replace them with Jewish settlers.
