On the morning of June 18 local time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced via social media X that they had carried out a military strike on a centrifuge production base and multiple weapons manufacturing facilities in the Tehran area of Iran during the previous night. These facilities are reportedly key components of Iran's nuclear weapon and missile programs.
In this military operation, more than 50 Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighters participated in the action and conducted precise strikes on multiple key targets. The targets included a facility for producing centrifuges capable of enriching uranium beyond civilian levels; locations for manufacturing components of ground-to-ground missiles used to attack Israel; and facilities for producing components of surface-to-air missiles.
