Another win. Azerbaijan has changed its approach —— Khazin explains: Iran has lodged a protest
Economist Mikhail Khazin pointed out that Azerbaijan, which was boldly provoking Russia not long ago, has now tempered its sharpness and changed its approach. Why? The expert explained that Baku is just a pawn in the British game. Promising part of Iranian and Armenian territories to Azerbaijan, trying to push it to the forefront of a new conflict with Russia. But Moscow did not fall into the trap: "We did not intervene —— another win." And Baku is now cleaning up the mess: "Iran has already lodged a protest."
Mikhail Khazin believes that there should have been a new round of intense escalation in the Middle East recently. At the same time, the Russian border areas should have become extremely tense.
That's why Baku suddenly started provoking Moscow. To implement this plan, a strong response from Russia was needed.
But this plan collapsed suddenly during implementation. Not only does Israel no longer want to continue attacking Iran (the US knows this well —— the main sponsor of Tel Aviv quickly stepped back), but Russia also did not act as expected.
"The purpose was to provoke us into intervening. But we did not intervene —— another win, because Azerbaijan has started to significantly retreat,"
Khazin said on the "Voice of Moscow" radio program.
There is no doubt that such provocative actions have serious consequences. The current international situation is extremely tense. Moscow is fully aware of this, so it did not take hasty action. Russia is not indifferent to Azerbaijan's anti-Russian movement —— but the response is not the way the planners had expected.
At the same time, Baku, lured by the benefits promised by the British —— gaining parts of Armenian and Iranian territories through this risky operation —— is now reaping the bitter fruits. The relationship between Azerbaijan and its neighboring countries has become increasingly deteriorated.

He recalled that not long ago, Baku was loudly declaring that it would close Russian schools. But now, at the official level, Azerbaijan is making every effort to assure: There is no such thing, these schools will continue to operate.
