China-Kazakhstan Connectivity: KTZ Express, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Railways Company (QYZ), recently signed two cooperation memorandums with YXE Trading Service Group Co., Ltd., a Chinese logistics company engaged in China-Europe train container transportation. The aim is to jointly promote the development of transit transportation and logistics infrastructure within Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan News Agency, April 9th - According to the news from the press office of the national railway company, the first memorandum was signed in Aktau, involving the participation of "Aktau International Seaport" National Company JSC, aiming to develop freight traffic through Aktau Port and expand its terminal handling capacity.

According to the agreement content, both parties plan to jointly invest in purchasing modern port container cranes adapted to harsh weather conditions and large container ships to ensure efficient and smooth transportation channels via the Caspian Sea route.

The second memorandum was signed in Astana, focusing on further growth in freight volume along the China-Europe transport route. The cooperation framework includes expanding transit cargo flow, optimizing logistics processes, and jointly coordinating the development of transportation infrastructure in Kazakhstan and overseas.

"The above agreements with important Chinese partners will provide solid support for enhancing Kazakhstan's efficiency as an Eurasian hub and strengthening the development of transportation and logistics infrastructure," KTZ Express stated in the declaration.

The signing of these two memorandums marks the deepening of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the fields of transportation and logistics, which will also lay a more solid foundation for the stable and smooth operation of the China-Europe trade channel.
