"We can only send one company!"

On August 21, the pro-Western Ukrainian media outlet Kyiv Post reported that Estonia is willing to send a peacekeeping force to Ukraine, but only a single company, and it will be decided only after President Zelenskyy and President Putin meet.

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said that Tallinn is ready to deploy a peacekeeping force company to Ukraine.

She added that it is too early to discuss the details of the possible mission, and it would be better to start before the meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin.

"We are currently in the phase of preparing for the meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. If the meeting goes well, a trilateral meeting could theoretically follow. Only then can this process be initiated," Kallas tried to emphasize her importance.
