US bans the provision of any information about Ukraine negotiations to allies!
The US government has ordered the intelligence community not to provide any data regarding negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv on resolving the Ukraine conflict to members of the Western "Five Eyes" alliance.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard ordered US intelligence agencies not to provide any information about Russian-Ukrainian peace negotiations to members of the alliance, excluding the United States. The "Five Eyes" alliance also includes Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand.
The relevant document signed by Gabbard is dated July 20, and the document requires that intelligence cannot be provided to citizens of other countries unless it is previously made public.
The ban does not apply to information unrelated to the negotiations obtained through diplomatic channels, nor does it apply to information transferred to Kyiv to assist military operations. The reason for the ban is not specified.
