President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that Russia and Kazakhstan will sign the Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Alliance. He pointed out that this will be one of the key objectives of his visit to Moscow. In an article written for the Russian newspaper, Tokayev wrote: "This document will certainly open a new era in bilateral relations, confirming the unprecedented level of mutual trust between the two countries and the common will to carry out closer cooperation in all fields."

President of Kazakhstan emphasized that the relationship between Moscow and Astana affects the geopolitical processes in the entire Eurasian space. Tokayev said that even against the backdrop of the "sanctions frenzy," the two countries maintain a "truly exemplary state-to-state relationship."

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Moscow from November 11 to 12. During the visit, he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in trade and economic, political, cultural, and humanistic fields. The two leaders will also exchange views on regional and international agenda issues.
