Trump self-proclaims "greatest president," personally compiling a ranking of U.S. presidents
Trump releases his personal presidential ranking: self-places himself at the "greatest" tier, with Lincoln and Washington ranked below him
U.S. President Donald Trump published a personally compiled ranking of American presidents on social media platform Truth Social on August 27. In this list, Trump placed himself alone in the "greatest" category.
Below him, the "great" category includes Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson.
Those categorized by Trump as "worst" include Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Ulysses S. Grant, Warren G. Harding, and Jimmy Carter.
Previously, Trump had repeatedly made sharp criticisms against Biden. Especially in December 2025, during a rally for supporters in Pennsylvania, the sitting president referred to former President Biden as "Sleepy Joe" and "Traitor Joe," calling him the "criminal who destroyed this country."
